According to Monday’s report from the Florida Department of Health, there are now 46,442 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. That’s an increase of 854 cases from Sunday’s report. There were also 26 additional deaths reported by the state Monday, increasing Florida’s death toll to 1,997.
The total number of people who have been hospitalized is 8,304, though the Department of Health notes that figure does not reflect the number of COVID-19 patients currently in hospitals.
